Event Map and Race Course
There will be staging areas to drop off boats near the starting area before parking. Please refer to the Beak of the Chick Event Map. For the afternoon "Anything that Paddles" event, there is a modified course that takes paddlers from the Chickahominy River bridge into Gordon creek and back. Paddler Map

Registration for the "Any-That-Paddles" Event:
Kayaks/Paddle Boards, Canoes, etc. - You can register either on site at the CHKD tent or pre-register through the link provided below.
All participants must fill out the attached waiver and hand it in at the registration desk to check in before the event (and receive a racing bib). Participants should be 12 or older unless accompanied by a parent on the water, and all minors must have permission from a guardian or parent (on the waiver)
The Park is providing a limited number of Kayaks and Canoes - these are available on a first come basis at the Registration Tent
All participants must have life preservers
Entry Fees: $20/single paddle boat; $30 for a two person boat.
Pre-registration: We encourage everyone to pre-register by going to the CHKD link below. There is an option to create your boat's or organization's unique URL and share with friends and family to sponsor your boat - the organization or group that raises the most money for CHKD will be awarded the Village Bank Community Cup.
Beast of the Chick (Crossfit 1607)
Crossfit event will begin at 10:30 and finish by 1:30 - $5 to participate
Show up at the Crossfit tent and register on site
On the day of the event, participants should drop their waiver forms at the Registration Tent and receive a participant bib.
